  • Starting at 10:45 AM, we’ll meet at the IKA shop in Ayer Hangat before heading to Buluh & Tebing.
  • At 11:00 AM, we arrive at Buluh & Tebing
  • At 11:10 AM, embark on an engaging farm tour led by our expert, followed by a hands-on private cooking class or a captivating cooking demonstration at noon.
  • By 1:00 PM, savor a delicious lunch prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Microgreen & Mushroom House and Rubber Tapping Demonstration
Learn about the cultivation of microgreens and mushrooms for the restaurants. See a rubber tapping demonstration, showcasing how rubber is extracted from trees, an important yet declining economic activity.
 
Orchard & Vegetable Plot and Orchid House
Stroll through the organic vegetable plots and orchards where common fast-growing fruit trees are cultivated. Discover the Orchid House, where orchids for the hotels are grown organically.
 
Rice Barn and Padi Planting
Visit the converted rice barn exhibiting a traditional kitchen and dining area. Observe a small plot dedicated to growing heirloom rice varieties, commemorating the property’s original use.
 
Fish (Tilapia) Pond and Traditional Aquatic Farming
Guests are encouraged to fish in the tilapia pond and have their catch prepared by the chef. Witness traditional aquatic farming techniques, where nutrients from the fish support the growth of water spinach (kangkong) and Brazilian spinach.
 
Kitchen Herb Garden
Explore the garden next to the restaurant, featuring a variety of kitchen herbs typically found near a traditional Malay house. The collection includes black pepper, lemongrass, screw pine, gingers, curry leaf, and sireh (betel nut leaf).
 
Bamboo Cafe and Gazebo
Experience dining in a unique cafe constructed entirely from treated bamboo using traditional methods, without any nails or screws. The roof is made from palm tree leaves. Enjoy the serene atmosphere of the gazebo across the pond, also crafted from bamboo and palm leaves.
